Neil Human - Medicine Mondiale Product realization manager

Neil Human is our Product realization manager and oversees the day to day management  of Medicine Mondiale's Product Realization programs.

Here's what drives Neil:
The developed world has traditionally been able to invest significant resources at solving healthcare problems, often resulting in complex, expensive solutions that require training, service and backup.  The developing world, however, does not have this luxury and has been technologically neglected to a great extent.  Resources and backup are normally non-existent and thus simple, less complex solutions to problems are required and the best  outcome is one which elicits the response “That is so simple, why hasn’t anyone thought of that before?”

I have a bent for technology, particularly at assessing the application thereof and  connecting the dots so to speak.  My career  involvement in technology start-ups have provided me with an insight into some of the challenges in developing and converting technology from an idea into a product.  This experience extends from the evaluation of technology, product development, securing IP, working closely with scientists/engineers, developing business models and plans, through to preparing documents for the raising of capital. I have an entrepreneurial approach, thrive on challenges and focus on problem-solving and results.  A sense of humour is also paramount when working in this space, as is when discussing just about anything with Sir  Ray!
