Martyn Atack – Managing Director, Atack Industries Ltd

Atack Industries Ltd is a specialist consultancy providing technical and business advisory services to the food industry. Martyn Atack founded the business after many years developing food products and processes for companies such as EasiYo Products Ltd, Tip Top Ice Cream Co and Kapiti Cheese. During his time with Tip Top Martyn was responsible for the development of the hugely successful Moritz and Paradiso ice cream novelties.

The company’s services include new food product and process development, comprising feasibility analysis, planning, development, scale up, packaging and labelling, and design of quality systems. It also provides expert assistance on food safety, compliance with New Zealand and international food labelling regulations.

Martyn became involved with Medicine Mondiale in 2005, by providing technical assistance with the development of its Proteinforte predigested protein formulations to combat acute diarrhea and protein energy malnutrition in developing countries. He is proud to be able to provide tangible support to Sir Ray’s vision of ensuring those in need in the developing world have access to first world healthcare and nutrition solutions.
